He is currently head of Chemo and Biosensors Group, Professor in Analytical Chemistry (2009), He was formerly Head of School of Pharmacy (2003-2009) and Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jember, Indonesia (2009-2013).
He also did his MSc degree (1996) in the same department, at UMIST, UK and undergraduate in Chemical Education (1993) IKIP Malang (now UM, State University of Malang), Indonesia. Bambang Kuswandi received his PhD in Instrumentation and Analytical Science from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, UK in 1999 under supervisor Prof.
